Tyler Perry Studios Launches Maxscene, With Courtney Glaude’s Thriller Conditioned Up First

Tyler Perry Studios has launched Maxscene, a specialty division meant to champion filmmakers with distinct voices and help get their films into theaters, ComingSoon reported, crediting Deadline with breaking the news. The first filmmaker to join is Courtney Glaudé, who has directed seasons of Sistas, Ruthless and Zatima; he will write and direct the thriller Conditioned, slated for early 2027.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

Atlanta's biggest studio is creating a new theatrical lane for independent filmmakers, which could mean more productions, crew work and creative opportunity based in the city.
