Churchill Grounds Jazz Club Reopens in Decatur Ahead of a November Grand Opening

Churchill Grounds has reopened in Decatur, with limited seatings available until its grand opening in November, according to Rough Draft Atlanta. The club, which operated near Atlanta's Fox Theatre for two decades before closing in 2016, is the roughly 140-seat performance venue inside the Mary Lou Williams Jazz Center in Decatur's historic post office, Decaturish reported.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

A live jazz room with deep Atlanta history is back, giving professionals a new spot for client nights and date nights east of downtown, inside a center named for Atlanta-born jazz pioneer Mary Lou Williams.
