Seventh House and Wylde Center Are Hosting Phone-Free Nights in Atlanta

Adair Park bar Seventh House now turns its bar and main dining room phone-free on the first Friday of every month, with guests locking their phones away for cocktails, food, board games and crafts, according to Rough Draft Atlanta. Wylde Center in Oakhurst has also started a monthly screen-free series called Airplane Mode, with the next session Oct. 20 at Oakhurst Garden.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

Screen-free socials are a new way to meet people in Atlanta without the small talk dying to phone checks, and Seventh House says the format has stretched visits from about 90 minutes to 2.5 to 3 hours, a signal other hospitality operators will notice.
