The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Opening Weekend begins Thursday, Oct. 1, at 8 p.m. at Atlanta Symphony Hall, with repeat performances Saturday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 4, at 3 p.m., according to the ASO. Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann conducts Handel's overture to Music for the Royal Fireworks, Brahms' Violin Concerto with violinist Johan Dalene, and Brahms' Symphony No. 1; tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.
