Atlanta Investor and Morehouse Grad Rashaun Williams Is Now a Full-Time Shark on 'Shark Tank' Season 18

Rashaun Williams, an Atlanta venture capitalist and Atlanta Falcons minority owner, is now a full-time Shark on ABC's 'Shark Tank,' according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Season 18 premiered Sept. 30 on ABC, and the show moved production this season from Los Angeles to Tyler Perry Studios in metro Atlanta. Williams, a 2001 Morehouse College graduate, was a guest Shark on three episodes two seasons ago and six last season.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

A Morehouse-trained Atlanta investor now sits on one of TV's best-known pitch stages, and the show itself films in metro Atlanta. For local founders, that brings national investor visibility, and production work, closer to home.
