The Hawks Sign a Multiyear Partnership Making Atlanta-Founded Home Depot Their Official Home Improvement Partner

The Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena have signed a multiyear partnership with The Home Depot, making the Atlanta-founded retailer the team's official home improvement partner, FOX 5 Atlanta reported Oct. 19 from a Hawks announcement. The deal covers arena and digital advertising, naming rights to the Hawks Fan Zone and Harry the Hawk's Nest, a "Build the Noise" hammer-stick giveaway at all 41 regular-season home games, and youth programs including a skilled-trades career program developed with Atlanta Public Schools. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

Two of Atlanta's biggest brands are tying their marketing together downtown; for local business owners it is a clear example of hometown companies using sports to reach Atlanta customers, and it adds trades-career exposure for the city's next workforce.
