Young Guru Says He Does Not Use Creative AI and Sees No Reason for It
Young Guru, the engineer and longtime Jay-Z collaborator, told AllHipHop at New York Comic Con that he does not use AI in his creative work. "I can't stand the creative AI," he said in the interview. "There's no reason for it."
He separated that from assistive tools, saying of those, "I'm not really mad at it," and he called for regulation: "But we definitely need regulation."
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
Atlanta's music, film and marketing workers are all deciding how far to let AI into creative work, and one of hip-hop's best-known engineers just drew his line.
