Venture Atlanta Returns Oct. 14-15 at the Woodruff Arts Center With Close to 100 Companies

Venture Atlanta, now in its 19th year, runs Oct. 14-15 at Midtown's Woodruff Arts Center with close to 100 selected companies, Hypepotamus reported Oct. 9. Organizers say alumni companies have raised more than $8.8 billion.

Wednesday begins with a Founder Funder Jog in Piedmont Park and opening remarks at 11 a.m., and Startup Showcase Live carries a $475,000 investment prize.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

It is the biggest week of the year for Atlanta founders and investors to be in the same room, and many deals and hires start in the hallways.
