Spelman College Museum of Fine Art Marks 30 Years With More Than 80 Works by Black Women Artists

The Spelman College Museum of Fine Art has opened "Between Here and Infinity: Celebrating 30 Years of the Spelman College Museum," according to the museum. The exhibition features over 80 works by Black women artists, including Elizabeth Catlett, Faith Ringgold and Carrie Mae Weems, across painting, sculpture, photography, film and installation. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a suggested donation of $5.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

Spelman's museum is a nationally known home for art by Black women, and a 30th-anniversary show is a low-cost cultural outing on the Westside for Atlanta professionals, alumni and visitors.
