Spelman College and Morehouse College scheduled the Oct. 15 groundbreaking of The Den at Eight50 West, a 360,000-square-foot development with 793 beds in 305 apartments across from B.T. Harvey Stadium, according to UATL. The Development Authority of Fulton County approved $146.45 million in revenue bonds in January; completion is set for fall 2028.
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
It is one of the largest new projects in the Atlanta University Center, with Radnor Property Group, Madrone Community Development Foundation, Clark Construction Group, C.D. Moody Construction and Moody Nolan attached, meaning contracting, design and neighborhood business activity around the AUC through 2028.
