Morehouse's B.T. Harvey Stadium Was Set to Host a Halloween Bid for the World's Largest Thriller Dance

Organizer BOUNCE ROCK planned to try to beat the published record of 13,597 people dancing to Michael Jackson's Thriller at noon on Saturday, Oct. 31, at B.T. Harvey Stadium at Morehouse College, according to the official Happy Thrillerween event page. The morning was set to start with 5K waves at 9 a.m. and a group dance practice at 11 a.m., and FOX 5 Atlanta listed it in its Halloween weekend guide. The organizer noted the record was attempted, not guaranteed.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

A daytime Halloween plan on the Westside that doubled as a 5K, with a shot at a Guinness record on an HBCU campus; tickets started at $25 for the dance only.
