Michael Jackson's Thriller Jacket and Billie Jean Glove Go to Auction Dec. 7

Julien's Auctions will sell Michael Jackson's red-and-black leather jacket from the 1983 Thriller video and the rhinestone glove he wore performing Billie Jean on Motown 25 at a Dec. 7 auction at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, Black Enterprise reports, citing Complex.

Julien's expects the glove to sell for $600,000 to $800,000. It sold for $430,000 in 2009.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

Jackson's 1983 wardrobe is some of the most recognizable Black cultural history there is, and the estimates show how the market now prices it.
