The Riverview Park Trail, a half-mile paved multi-use path along the Chattahoochee River in Smyrna, is scheduled to formally open with a ribbon-cutting Thursday morning, Urbanize Atlanta reported Oct. 6. It completes the northern section of the Chattahoochee RiverLands Showcase Trail, which is planned to span three miles in Cobb County.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

It is a new riverfront place to walk, run and ride close to the Perimeter, and the first finished piece of a planned 100-mile river park linking 20 cities and seven counties.
