Fairburn Road Is Closed Between Cascade Road and Benjamin E. Mays Drive for About Six Months

Fairburn Road is closed between Cascade Road and Benjamin E. Mays Drive while crews build twin bridges at the North and South Utoy Creek crossings, Atlanta News First reports. The City of South Fulton announced the closure, which began Oct. 19 and is expected to last about six months, after the original Oct. 5 start was delayed by water main issues.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

Commuters, bus riders and businesses along the corridor face a longer detour through spring, so routes and delivery plans need to change now.
