Star Community Bar at 437 Moreland Ave. in Little Five Points will close Dec. 31 after 35 years, Rough Draft Atlanta reported, following The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Red Light Cafe, now at Amsterdam Walk, is expected to take over the space in January 2027 and keep the Elvis Shrine and Little Vinyl Lounge. Star Bar's 35th anniversary party was set for Saturday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m. with a $20 cover.
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
One of Atlanta's best-known live music rooms is changing hands, and the club's final two months are the last chance to catch a show under the Star Bar name.
