John Legend and Bilt Offer $850 Rent Grants to 50 Students, Including at Morehouse
According to TheGrio, the Bilt + John Legend Scholarship for Student Housing Security will give one-time $850 grants toward off-campus housing to 50 students at Morehouse College, Central State University, Wilberforce University and the University of Pennsylvania. Scholarship America runs the program, and applications close Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. ET or sooner if the awards run out. Bilt first announced the partnership on Sept. 25, ahead of Legend's album Muse.
