A Recall of Great Value and Trader Joe's Frozen Organic Berries Sold in Georgia Has Been Expanded

According to a company announcement posted by the FDA on Oct. 2, Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. expanded its recalls to include additional lots of Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend and Great Value Organic Blueberries (10 oz) and Trader Joe's Organic Mixed Berry Blend (12 oz) because of potential contamination with Escherichia coli O145:H28. Georgia is among the states where the products were sold.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

These are freezer staples sold at Walmart and Trader Joe's in Georgia. The notice says the product should be discarded or returned for a full refund.
