Atlanta Gas Averages $4.21 a Gallon, Up 19.6 Cents in a Week
Regular gas in Atlanta averaged $4.21 a gallon Monday, up 19.6 cents from a week ago and $1.36 higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy's survey of more than 2,100 metro stations, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta. Georgia's statewide average is $4.17, below the $4.42 national average, and GasBuddy found a $1.24-per-gallon gap between the cheapest and most expensive Atlanta-area stations.
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
Commuters and vehicle-heavy businesses are paying roughly $20 more per 15-gallon fill-up than a year ago, and with a $1.24 spread between local stations, shopping around now saves real money.
