Dream Lead Mystics 1-0 and Can Clinch Their First-Round Series in Game 2 Wednesday
The Atlanta Dream beat the Washington Mystics 92-77 on Sunday to take Game 1 of their best-of-three first-round WNBA playoff series, according to the Associated Press. Game 2 is Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. ET in Washington on ESPN, per The Sporting News' series schedule, and a Game 3, if needed, would be Friday, Oct. 2, in Atlanta.
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
A Game 2 win sends the Dream to the next round; a loss brings a deciding Game 3 back to Atlanta on Friday, which is one more big-night option for hosting clients, teams and friends this week.
