Downtown Atlanta's First Public Dog Park Opens in Woodruff Park

The City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation cut the ribbon last week on the Woodruff Park Dog Park, the first public dog park in downtown Atlanta, Urbanize Atlanta reported Nov. 3. The 6,500-square-foot off-leash park has separate small-dog and large-dog sections, and the same project refreshed the ATL playground and improved paths and ADA access. Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

Downtown has been adding residents and offices; a dedicated off-leash space in Woodruff Park is a daily-life amenity for people living and working in Fairlie-Poplar and around Georgia State.
