Atlanta Police Add 15 E-Bikes to the Beltline Path Force Unit
The Atlanta Police Department has unveiled 15 electric bikes for its Beltline Path Force unit, according to WSB-TV and Atlanta News First. Maj. Jeff Cantin called the bikes the department's initial rollout, and Atlanta News First reports patrols begin this weekend. Bearings Bike Works helped assemble the bikes.
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
The Beltline is where a lot of Atlanta professionals run, commute and meet up after work, so more visible patrols with a longer reach change the day-to-day feel of the trail.
