Angel Reese and Rhyne Howard Make the WNBA All-Defensive First Team, and Jordin Canada Makes the Second Team

The WNBA announced its 2026 All-Defensive teams Oct. 15, and Rolling Out reports the Atlanta Dream's Angel Reese and Rhyne Howard made the First Team, with Jordin Canada on the Second Team. Reese, 24, is also this season's Defensive Player of the Year, and Howard moved up from last season's Second Team. The honors came days before the Dream opened the WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries on Saturday, Oct. 17.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

Three Dream players honored days before Atlanta's first WNBA Finals since 2013 keeps the team front of mind for watch parties, sponsors and the State Farm Arena home games.
