Todd Weaver Went From Earning $4 an Hour to Leading a Construction Enterprise Nearing $1 Billion

Todd Weaver started in construction at age 12, earning $4 an hour picking up trash at a site in Hazelwood, Missouri, according to Black Enterprise, citing Forbes. He is now founder and CEO of St. Louis-based DGN Enterprise, a Black-owned construction enterprise that oversees five companies employing 585 people. Black Enterprise reports the business generated nearly $400 million in 2025 and is expected to approach $1 billion in revenue by the end of 2026.
