Three Taverns Is Closing Its Original Decatur Taproom on New Street After 13 Years

Three Taverns Brewery founder Brian "Beeps" Purcell announced Nov. 2 that the company is suspending production at its New Street taproom at East Decatur Station, its flagship for 13 years, saying it is no longer financially feasible to run without outside help, Decaturish reported via Atlanta News First. No last day has been shared. Imaginarium in Reynoldstown and Ponce Brew Terminal stay open, and core beers continue through a brewing partner. Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

One of Decatur's best-known gathering spots is going away; Atlanta's craft-beer and hospitality owners are watching how a well-known local brand restructures to stay open, and regulars should plan a last visit.
