The Dump Furniture Outlet in Buckhead Is Closing as the Chain Liquidates All of Its Stores

The Dump Luxe Furniture Outlets plans to close all of its locations permanently, including its Atlanta store at 815 Sidney Marcus Boulevard, What Now Atlanta reported Oct. 9. A liquidation sale began Oct. 8 with advertised discounts of 40% to 80% on about $100 million in merchandise across the chain; no closing date has been announced. The Atlanta store opened in 2010 in a 178,000-square-foot former Home Depot.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

A liquidation sale at a 178,000-square-foot store matters to anyone furnishing a home or office this fall, and the closing will leave a large retail building on Sidney Marcus Boulevard to watch.
