Phylicia Rashad and Debbie Allen Say Each Grew Up Believing the Other Was the Beautiful Sister
Phylicia Rashad and Debbie Allen told Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson on the IMO podcast that each sister grew up thinking the other was the pretty one, REVOLT reports. Rashad said she only told Allen so on a Christmas Eve after college, and Allen answered, "But you're the beautiful one." Allen said the two were raised around "that colorism foolishness." The episode aired Oct. 7.
