Mojo Brookzz's Netflix Special, Filmed at Atlanta's Center Stage Theater, Hits No. 1 in the U.S.
According to TheGrio, 'Mojo Brookzz: I Know You Lying,' the Chicago comedian's debut Netflix stand-up special, reached No. 1 on Netflix's U.S. top 10 shows list one day after its Oct. 6 premiere. The special was filmed at Atlanta's Center Stage Theater and directed by Mike Lavin.
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
Another No. 1 Netflix title was shot on an Atlanta stage. Brookzz, who built his audience through social media sketches, also appears in Tyler Perry's Netflix series 'Miss Governor,' so the city's production pipeline is all over this one.
