LL Cool J Says the Debate Over an Appropriate Age to Make Hip-Hop Is Just Fear Talking
LL Cool J, 58, said on "What Now? with Trevor Noah" that people who obsess over an appropriate age to make hip-hop are usually speaking from fear, REVOLT reported Oct. 5. "Your fans didn't vaporize," he said, adding that artists "can still make something for your fans."
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
It is a career-longevity message that lands well beyond music: the audience you built does not disappear when you hit a certain age, and the challenge is to keep making work for it.
