Decide DeKalb Will Publish a Veteran-Owned Business Guide on Nov. 9
Decide DeKalb, the county's economic development organization, will publish the DeKalb Veteran-Owned Business Guide on Nov. 9, ahead of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, Black Enterprise reported Oct. 9. According to Decide DeKalb, more than 31,900 military veterans live in DeKalb County, and Census Bureau data cited by the organization counts 541 businesses with at least one paid employee that are at least 51% veteran-owned. It follows the DeKalb Black Business Guide (2024) and the DeKalb Women-Owned Business Guide (May 2026).
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
A county-backed directory is free visibility for local owners and an easy way for professionals and procurement teams to find veteran-owned vendors in DeKalb.
