Braves Drop NLDS Game 1 to the Dodgers 5-3; Game 2 Is Sunday at 8 p.m. ET
The Dodgers beat the Braves 5-3 in Game 1 of the National League Division Series on Saturday at Dodger Stadium, according to MLB’s official site. Dylan Dodd opened with three scoreless innings for Atlanta, but Teoscar Hernandez, Kyle Tucker and Max Muncy homered for Los Angeles, and Tarik Skubal allowed one run over six innings with seven strikeouts. Ozzie Albies hit a two-run homer in the ninth. The Dodgers lead the series 1-0, and Game 2 is Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on FS1.
Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals
Atlanta needs a split in Los Angeles before the series moves to Truist Park, where a playoff home game drives business for bars, restaurants and hotels around The Battery.
