Atlanta-Based Stord Secures a $400 Million Credit Facility Led by Citi and Names a New CFO and CRO

Atlanta-headquartered Stord has secured a $400 million credit facility led by Citi, with Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, First Citizens, Citizens and KeyBank, according to a company announcement carried Oct. 9 by Metro Atlanta CEO. Stord says the facility closed oversubscribed at nearly double the amount it originally sought and follows a $250 million Series F at a $3 billion valuation earlier in 2026. The company also named Bill Zerella chief financial officer and Mark Wayland chief revenue officer.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

One of Atlanta's highest-valued startups is still raising capital and hiring senior leadership, a signal for local tech talent, vendors and founders watching what scale looks like here.
