A'ja Wilson Wins Her Fifth WNBA MVP and Becomes the First Player to Win Three in a Row

According to TheGrio, the WNBA on Thursday named Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson the 2026 Kia WNBA Most Valuable Player. It is her fifth MVP, and she is the first player in the league's 30-year history to win the award in three consecutive seasons. She received 65 of 74 first-place votes.

Why It Matters for Atlanta Professionals

Wilson is setting the standard in a league Atlanta is investing in heavily, with the Dream in the semifinals and Angel Reese named Defensive Player of the Year. Her run is also a study in sustained excellence for anyone building a career.
