Roswell Seeks Developers for Former Independence High School Campus, Proposals Due Nov. 2
Roswell and its Downtown Development Authority are marketing the former Independence High School, a 5.4-acre campus at 791 Mimosa Blvd., for mixed-use redevelopment, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. CBRE is overseeing the process, the existing buildings must be preserved and retrofitted, and submissions are due by 3 p.m. Nov. 2. The Fulton County Board of Education decided in May to close the school, established in 1991 as the area's alternative high school.
