Carol's Daughter Founder Lisa Price Tells Tamron Hall Why She Took Back the Brand She Sold to L'Oreal

Lisa Price, who started Carol's Daughter in her Brooklyn kitchen more than 30 years ago and sold it to L'Oreal in 2014, spoke about regaining control of the company on the Oct. 5 episode of Tamron Hall's talk show, The Root reported Oct. 6. Price told Hall the pivot was "necessary" and came "10 years to the day," and The Root notes she announced her role as president in March 2025.
